والغريب أن الاعلان عن اللحاف جاء مستفز عندما يبدأ "بخبر عاجل أن هناك لحاف بألوان علم مصر بعد ان حفرت الثورة حب العلم في قلوبنا، وبعدها تظهر زوجة تتوجه لزوجها في غرفة النوم وتحاول أن توقظه حتى يذهب للعمل ، ويرد عليها "أنا معتصم تحت اللحاف". وبعد فترة يكرر ابنه "قوم يابابا " فيرد عليه "عايز إيه يا ميدو؟ أنا معتصم لغاية ما أمك ترحل".

وعلى الجانب الأخر نجد حالياً في ميدان التحرير عدد كبير من الباعة المتجولين يبيعوا كورت الثورة المصرية 1 جنية مصر وهي كروت عليها صور لشهداء الثورة المصرية، وتي شيرت الثورة 25 جنية، في محاولة لاستغلال الحدث.
