Egypt signed an agreement with Russia for the supply of gas to 2020

Chairman of the Holding Company for Natural Gas, EGAS, Khalid Abdul Badi, said that Egypt "will be signed this week an agreement with Russia's Gazprom to import natural gas."
Egypt had initially agreed with Gazprom, in April 2014, on the supply of 7 shipments of liquefied natural gas in the framework of the government's efforts to provide the necessary for the operation of power plants, energy sources.

The Hauge Norwegian company announced in November signed a contract of five years with the Holding Company for Natural Gas, EGAS, for the supply of the first floating terminal for receiving shipments of liquefied natural gas and convert to natural gas, and is expected to be operational by the end of March 2015.
