Fifty million American hungry

Cause significant reductions in food aid for the poor in the United States - and that harm tens of millions of citizens living on such aid - in high demand on charities and food banks, which are already overloaded.

The number of American citizens who are currently dependent on government food aid nearly 50 million people are considered the biggest victim of the significant decrease in the assistance provided by the State, which entered into force as of the first month of November.
According to recent statistics, based about 14 per cent of households in the United States at the present time on food aid, which is known as food stamps or Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, according to official label,These cuts come at a difficult time indeed for millions of American citizens, many of whom are still struggling to recover from the economic crisis.
